입양률이 높은 미국 찰스턴의 고양이카페 [Pounce Cat Cafe]

우리나라에도 유기묘 입양카페가 있습니다. 

이전 글에 소개한 지구별고양이등이 그런 곳인데요, 

미국에도 유기묘 입양카페가 있는 것 같습니다. 

미국 사우스캐롤라이나주의 남동부에 있는 찰스턴이라는 도시의 Pounce 카페인데요, 

이 카페는 다른 유기묘 입양카페보다 입양률이 월등히 높다는군요.

To bring people in the door, Pounce holds special events like Sunday Kitten Yoga, Friday night movies and Feline and Design paint night. But the biggest seller? Letting the animals be themselves. 

“They feel like this is their home, so they’re acting like who they would at your house and you’re able to make a much better decision based on your family and what you really want. I think that’s why we’ve had such a high adoption rate because people fall in love and can’t leave without them.” 

사람들이 카페 안으로 들어오게 하기 위해, 

평소에 다양한 이벤트를 연다고 합니다. 

예를들면, 일요일 아기 고양이 오가, 금요일 밤 영화감상, 고양이 그림그리는 밤 등이죠. 

무엇보다 사람들이 입양하게 되는 가장 큰 이유는? 

동물들이 방문자와 함께 (집처럼) 편하게 지내도록 하는 것입니다. 

다양한 이벤트와 함께, 방문한 손님이 고양이와 편하게 시간을 보내도록 배려해주는 것이, 

높은 입양률의 비결이라고 하는군요.
